Fluency-Building Plays Around the Year

Research shows that rehearsing and reading plays offers students the repeated reading practice they need to become confident and fluent readers. These short and engaging plays, keyed to holiday and seasonal events around the year, will motivate students to read and practice their lines and to experiment with key aspects of fluent reading, such as phrasing, pacing, and expression.
