Englishman Paul West may have been living in Paris for some years now, but he is still managing to annoy the French. He is also still struggling to find the answers to some important questions: How can he prevent his ruthless business partner turning his English tea-rooms into an American diner? When should he step-in and stop his best-friend reading his excruciating poems to a room packed full of French women? What can he do to stop the entire Civil Service coming out on strike? And is it really all his fault?
