Cornerstones for Writing is a resource designed to improve children's writing skills at Key Stage 2/Primary 4-7. It provides full coverage of the National Literacy Strategy and National Curriculum writing objectives, offering a clear five-step approach to writing: analysis of model texts, planning, drafting, revising and publishing. Cornerstones for Writing offers materials for teaching extended writing over a range of text types, for different audiences. Activities are offered at three levels of ability. The OHTs Pack contains lively text extracts, selected to show realistic textual features in a range of text types.
