The famous mineralogist, Professor Lidenbrock, finds a piece of parchment in an old book. A message written in code describes a secret entrance to another world. The Professor’s nephew, Axel, breaks the code and he and his uncle set out on a journey that takes them back in time to the days of the dinosaurs and pre-historic man. But how will they manage to get back to the present safely?
